First of all I want to say that I did NOT finish this book (a rarity for me). I made it to 51% and couldn't take any more of Indigo's patting her own back - I could not count how many times she thought she was strong and had to protect her roommate, or thought she was strong because of her upbringing in a bad neighborhood, or thought she was strong because someone had to be, or thought she was strong to protect her parents. Very repetitive (how many times in a couple of paragraphs do I need to be told that the sirens are going off?). It was made very clear, several times that her roommate was whiny and having difficulty dealing with the invasion. After totally loving Celia Kyle's Preor books and SE Smith's Dragon Lords of Valdier, I was hoping for another fantastic series to get absorbed in but this series just isn't for me. I will try this author's Elemental Dragons series and have my fingers crossed.Product details

Vosh is a military commander who comes to Earth to fight the Mulgor. Indigo losing her family and friends to the Mulgor. Then she is mated to Vosh.
A fun, quick read with a leading lady with lots of spunk and a hard headed, hotter than heck alien man. If you're a fan of aliens and match making than this book is for you. Some action gets thrown in and some very steamy scenes as well.
Loved Indigo being a brave, intelligent and beautiful black woman! Loved Vlosh so distinguished! Loved Lexi, Loretta and Tabby being in this story! An exciting, memorable and a joy reading!! Please can we get one with everyone including the children?! Excellent!
I ran into this Author last night. I had just read the 1st book of her "Brave the darkness" series. Went back and got the rest. Had to have more. Got all the books in this series. Must have more, so I am back on to just buy all the rest in one shot so I can just read. This is a Author that can take you out of your body to live ( for a little while ) in different worlds, getting to know and come to care for the characters in the books. The stories leave you wanting to know more so just get them all and save yourself time, lol
OK story, not badly written and main characters were somewhat interesting but mating ritual turned me off. Just not for me and the other "brides" annoyed me with their demands to be spoiled. They reminded me of brats.
One minute your a college student, with your opinions about how the world could be better and how it got to be the way it is, the next Aliens are invading because your planet has an alliance with their ancient enemy, and as everyone light to realize, the friend of my enemy is my enemy.
Indigo goes through the ringer in this story, and draws on a remarkable well of inner strength. Vlosh wants to do right by Indigo, even as he realizes they are from different species and the timing is bad for him, yet he finds the most remarkable, honest, ways to show genuine caring and love.
Indigo Robertson signed up for the Draconian Mating Lottery years ago trying to secure a future for her parents with the money she would receive, but was never a match to any Draconian, so she went on to win a scholarship to college. Now after years of having been invaded by the good aliens, the Draconians mortal enemies, the Mulgor have decided to destroy earth in an attempt to extinguish them once and for all. In comes the Draconian Military Armada headed by the highest ranking General Vlosh and as it would have it Indigo is a match for the General. Indigo's parents and best friend are slaughtered by the Mulgor and she cares not what could happen to her, but she soon finds that she has a strong pull towards the stoic and stiff General, but he thinks she, no is sure she can be the answer to end of the Mulgors reign of terror. And the end to his lonely days of war.
