I have thought about signing up for Patreon, but never got around to doing it because I really didn't have time to learn the in's and out's of the site. I came across this book while searching Amazon for books with "success" in the title and came across this gem."Patreon Success" tells you all you need to know about creating a Patreon account and using it to market your creative powers successfully. What I really liked about it was the fact it wasn't a just a Patreon promotion. H.J. Thompson also points out the pitfalls and limitations that one can encounter using Patreon as a crowd funding platform. I am now ready to move forward with creating my own Patreon account and feel that this book has helped me exponentially.

Short and sweet, but not much value here. Patreon as a service is a bit niche, so if you're getting this book you've probably already spent a fair amount of time on the website. This is super general info you could get from the Patreon FAQs, About, and even youtube pages. Much less than expected.
This book is basic with bad advice and simplistic overviews of what patreon really is. There are no serious and proven strategies for building your patreon following and in turn, your income.
